Sho was use to Jun’s random acts of…whatever the hell it could be called, since they all acted that way. Being fairly close. There was no such thing as akaward touches…well not really. Even a random kiss here and there wasn’t anything to fuss over. But when Jun declares I’m going to kiss you Sho hasn’t the faintest idea of what he should do. Sure he knew Jun liked him, they all knew. They had seen it grow from simple fanboy-ism to the love he felt now. But still, Sho wasn’t sure what to do with that love. Did he feel the same or did he just see Jun as a close friend?
He was at a loss the next day by Jun’s behavior. Not only did the younger not mention the kiss to him or anyone for that matter, he mearly acted as if nothing happened. As if it was any other day. Smiling and laughing like always. Sho tried to confront him to find out if the previous day was a work of his imaginatino or if it really happened. But Jun was smart. He’d been spending time with Nino, he could wedge his way out of Sho’s questions no problem.
The day after that though Jun was fairly cold. He didn’t utter a word to the still confused older man and even left rooms when Sho walked into them. Sho was shocked, he was hurt, he was…he was lost. What did this mean? He couldn’t understand Jun at all. When he gets into bed that night he wonders. Maybe it was all hints. Jun could be trying to push Sho to do something that his mind had been telling him to do all along.
Sho acts. He doesn’t take a minute to waste. Not even a second! He courners Jun and makes sure the younger has no escape. “Im’s sorry.” He says, “But you didn’t ask me either.” And with that he leans in just as Jun starts to form a protest silenceing him and making his scowl soften into a face of pure amazment and then something Sho couldn’t even pinpoint.
He knows what Jun was going to say. It’s so obvious. He would say it to, What the hell took you so long? So he just keeps him there, faces locked. It’s a bit akward at first. The angle and all. But then Sho turns his head and its all fine. Like this was how it sould be. They fit perfectly together, like they were born for each other.
Sho feels Jun’s hands on his chest holding onto his shirt and he holds back a smile as his finglers lace through his hair.
They’ve known each other forever but Sho’s long known that Jun is the most impossible person to read. There are times though, just a few, when Jun wears everything on his sleve, where he wants someone else to lead. And Sho wouldn’t have it any other way.
