Jun and Sho walked into the diner, though something was different, unusual. Abia, excited to see Jun, ran over to give him a hug, but Jun’s reaction was less that lest expected to everyone.

The moment he was let out of Aiba’s grip he ran to hid behind Sho, like a little child would when he was scared to meet someone new. The others started at this site in aw, confused as to why Jun, cocky Jun, was acting like a little child. There was another problem within this problem, but what could it possibly be now?

The five of them sat at the booth while Sho explained the current situation since the night before…

“I don’t understand it at all. There I was, talking to Jun before I decided to read that paper and then all of a sudden he snaps, throwing this…temper-tantrum. Which is very odd considering Jun’s current…well other state.” The five of them looked at Jun who was playing with a napkin, a sight that was strange and disturbing. “It took nearly an hour to calm him down, and then he just continued to act like that…till now.”

Nino pondered over this for a moment. “Maybe…he’s trying to escape.” He offered Looking at Ohno hoping that he would understand if the others didn’t. Everyone was lost. “I don’t quiet follow. Elaborate.” Sho said, Jun clinging onto him and playing the hair the fell over his ears which tickled Sho a bit.

Nino thought for a moment, looking for the correct words. “Well…you know how you said that Jun wanted to know all of what happened? The exact details with nothing being left out?” Sho nodded. “Well, they might be connected.” Sho raised an eyebrow. “How so?” He asked still not fully grasping the idea. He grabbed Jun’s hand which was still playing with his bangs [it was starting to annoy him]. “Think about it,” Nino offered. “Jun wanted to know what happened; even though he probably knew well enough that it wasn’t going to be good news all the way through. So, if you put the two together…”

“He’s suppressing himself.” Ohno finished finally understanding. “Yes.” Nino said nodding. “He wants to know, but is scared that if he does, his world will crash down on him…but what I don’t get is…” He looked at Jun. “Why go back to being a child? Why not just be the normal sadisct Jun we know?” They all watched Jun for a moment trying to figure out exactly what was going on still.

Sho sat there not really paying any attention to Jun, causing him to fuss a little until he finally, like a child, bit Sho’s ear. “Ow!” Sho yelled grabbing his ear. He turned to look at Jun about to yell at him before something clicked in his head it was making a bit of sense to him. “I think I know.” He rubbed his ear a bit making sure the child-like Jun hadn’t caused him to start bleeding. “Jun said to me a few days ago that he always wants to be here, with us, with me. No matter what.” He looked down at the table, “When he said it, there was this extremely sad look in his eyes…like as if he was going away or something. Then he said that if he could have anything he wanted…he would always want to be taken care of and loved by us, but me especially.” The three looked at Sho then Jun trying to grasp the meaning of his words. What did it all mean?

Aiba seemed to be lost as ever though. He dropped his head on the table with a thud, mumbling something like he didn’t understand all this physiological talk, and his head was hurting. Jun looked at Aiba’s head. Watching him intently, curious as to what he would do next. When Aiba didn’t move Jun got anxious and started to poke lightly at the top of his head, and then he blew his hair. Aiba picked up his head a bit and stared at Jun.

The two looked at each other in silence for a few minutes, as if they were communicating with their eyes leaving the other out of the conversation. Aiba then sat up fully and looked at Sho. “Maybe we should leave it alone for a few days, ne Sho-chan?” He tilted his head waiting for a response from Sho. He sighed; Sho knew it as a good idea but, was it really the best idea? “That’s what I was thinking, but still…” He looked at Jun, the rest of his thought left hanging in the air for everyone to guess on what he was going to say next.

Sho left it alone, like Aiba had suggested, for the next few days, worry plastered on his face though every moment it had. He understood full well how Jun felt, but it made him worry even more. Just when he was so close to getting Jun back…back into his life like it was before, he was gone again just like that. All he had was this ‘empty’ shell of him with some other person that Sho had no idea how to handle.

Things didn’t improve though, they just stayed the same, and everyone was getting impatient. Sho, being responsible for Jun, told his school that he would need another leave of absence from school for a while. When asked why, he just said that Jun had a physiological breakdown, which wasn’t entirely a lie if you get down to it.

A month had passed since this arose again, and Jun was still…a child. Sho was getting frustrated, but learning to deal with it. As much as he was annoyed, he loved Jun even more now, because, he could see how his childish side had worked all those years. But there where times when he couldn’t handle it….that he would just breakdown himself and need to be alone, it was then that he turned to Ohno or Aiba.

One November day, after Jun’s new breakdown into a child, he came up to Sho thinking that this was the most important question in the world. “Ne, ne, Saku-chan,” It pained Sho every time he heard that, like his Jun wasn’t there but replaced with some look alike trying to take his place. “Where are my parents?” Sho had dropped everything that he’d was doing and froze. How was he going to respond to this? What could he say? What was there to say?

Sho wanted to with all his heart to tell Jun the truth, the truth of what had happened over a year ago, but when he turned to look at those eyes, those innocent, mischievous eyes that he loved so much, he couldn’t do it. Instead, he broke down crying, pulling Jun into his arms. What was he going to do now? He had the chance, the opportunity was he, but he couldn’t take it.

Sho knew that his had to say it, find some way to fix everything. But as he held onto Jun, he had no idea how to fix this. It was then that Sho had decided that he would take this chance. Tomorrow, everything would be told. Sho would take Jun on a ‘tour’ of everything. This was the hardest thing he’s ever had to do, but…it was necessary. This was the only way to bring Jun out from the darkness that was swolling him up…it was no or never.
