Summary: Matsumoto Jun is a famous actor from Hana Yori Dango. Ohno Satoshi is a Singer and a newbie actor but known for his role in Maou. The Two are cast together on a new drama called Haru Haru.
A/N: So I wanted to do a new fic for new year's just a one-shot or soemthing. But all the ideas I got would've turned out to be a Chapter fic so it got really hard. This seemed to be the best idea out of all of them since. Ive never done Juntoshi [Honestly Im against it but cant knock what you dont try] and Ive done millions of Ohmiya and I think they need a break from me. This is also a first time for me doing a fic baised off theit lives, like the actor sense, I mean. SO I hope it turns out well. Now forgive me if posts are slow on this or anything else. Since now I have 3 chapter fics going on and knowing me ill probably cross wires at some point and start a one-shot or two. [I actually have like 3 to finish X.x] But Enjoy all the same!
Actors are funny people. You never know how they really want to portray themselves, one moment they seem like they’re latest character and then the next the seem like a different version of them selves. The same goes for popular actor Matsumoto Jun. Everyone knows him best as Domyouji from Hana Yori Dango.
Jun is a lot like his last character, strong and possessive. But what would happen if someone new came on the scene? How would Jun take the new competition?
Jun walked into work one day cell phone glued to his ear. His manager had told him to come in right away there was a new drama for him, he needed to look over the script. Jun was up for this. His schedule was bit light the past few weeks anyway so it couldn’t hurt.
Ohno Satoshi was new on the acting scene. He wasn’t to familiar with everything, but he was quiet popular. His first notable drama was Maou, a popular remake on a 2007 Korean drama called The Devil. As sweet as Ohno was, he could play a bad guy pretty well.
His manager had told him many times in the past weeks how well Maou had went, he was getting many requests for up coming dramas but noting interested him in the long run. He even said to his manager that he was much happier just singing like before, dramas weren’t really for him.
Thought he decided to stick with this new found job. Even if it wads just for a little while. Plus his manager had gotten another drama lined up for him, he deiced to go and check it out. This is why; Ohno Satoshi was walking down the hall at work so early that day and not fishing.
Jun had managed to walk to the casting meeting a bit early but he decided to get a copy of the script and read it over seeing as it was a way to pass time. When he was finished he decided that I was a good story line and somewhat cute. He could work with it. He was going to take the job. Someone else, probably another cast member, walked in just as Jun’s cell phone rang.
“Hello?” It was his manager. “What do you mean the time’s been changed? I cant sit around all day I have to go home in an hour to wish my sister a Happy Birthday. I cant be a dick to her. Don’t tell me to calm down…” He paused a moment while his manager gave him plenty good reasons as to while it was postponed. “Okay, I can understand that but… Yes I do like keeping a job. FINE! I get it. I’ll wait around.” And with hat he hung up the phone. God his manager was such an ass.
The other man just started at Jun for a moment before looking around the room he saw the script so decided to read it over. About half way through the first page he got a call as well. “Yes?” The man turned the pages as if to see how long it was. “Well I was planning on doing other things today…do I really have to be here? Its not like I was up for the idea anyway.” He paused and closed the script. “I guess…so an hour, this a while…” He looked at his watch. “Sure. Okay.” He hung up and sighed leaning his head back.
Jun watched this whole thing unfold he didn’t really care, but he had nothing better to do. An hour till the meeting, what was a person to do?
Ohno hated this. He had to wait now. Maybe he would go eat some ramen to pass the time. It was better than sitting there doing nothing. He dropped the script on the table and headed out. Ramen was a good thing to pass the time, get a good half hour of something to do.
When the cast meeting started Ohno came in just as the door closed, it seems he got distracted while out.
When the meeting ended Ohno had decided to take part in the drama, he didn’t care what character he got, as long as he enjoyed him self. But he was chosen for the second lead role. That shocked him a bit at first but that soon passed as he was introduced to his co-worker. “Ohno, let me introduce you.” His manager waved him over.
“This is Matsumoto Jun, he’s the co-lead.” Ohno looked at the man.
Matsumoto Jun gasped. It was the man that was in there before! He didn’t let his emotions show on his face but he knew the man had seemed familiar. All the same he bowed and gave a small. “Nice to meet you.” Ohno complied.
“This is Ohno Satoshi.” Jun’s manager introduced. “He’s a new actor still but is very popular from his first drama back in 2008, Maou. We Thought it would be best to put you two in a drama together. It’s bound to get a lot of promotional help. It should work out well.”
Ohno looked at his manager. “Wow, you really want me to do this don’t you?”
The new drama, Haru Haru had now officaly begun. Main casting was done and shoot for the first episode would start in a week. This was sure to be a trip for both actors, Ohno Satoshi and Matsumoto Jun. Shall we watch it unfold?
Note: Haru Haru is Korean for Day by Day. I got the idea for the drama title by it english translation, but wanting to be different for once I decided to put Haru Haru as the title but its all the same. Its also a great sweet song by Big Bang
In this fic, you will see 2 stories unfold. The Drama story, and Matumoto Jun/Ohno Satoshi's. So it will be quite dificult and what not.
I cant promise the pdated fast, I really cant, my callabs will be not to long after chapters get done, so like once a week I hope. But this one will be as soon as a chapter is done so that could be three day to 2 weeks. Dont get made ><
