A/n: I am back in action. I was thinking of entering an Arashi fanfic contest, and now that I think about it I should have used this, but oh well. Sorry for my vanishing act. Im here for weeks, then go poof I know. Its terrible, I'm terrible, but we live. Now on with the new fic. GO GO GO!

Aiba Masaki was lost. So hopelessly lost. He had no idea who he was, where he was going, or where he even was for that matter. He roamed the streets of Kyoto not knowing where he should be. It was early evening and the sun was slowly making its descent in the sky. The oncoming night made Aiba wonder just as he was going to do about a place to stay. But what can you do when you don’t have money and can’t even remember who you are?

Aiba was never one to cause trouble; he always did what he was told for the most part and earned friends almost anywhere he went. But once, just once he wasn’t in an agreeing mood. Now frankly everyone is entitled to a few of them right? Well this was Aiba’s first in his 20 years of being alive, so dammit someone should hear him out! No way, says the brown cow, not this time.

This is how it went down. You typical Saturday morning, Aiba woke up like he did everyday and went down to greet his family once again with a big smile. He got the warm and more than welcome ‘good morning’s in return then sat down for breakfast. Once breakfast was over it was time for the daily retune of getting ready to help his father open the resturant. His father owned a small Chinese restaurant in Chiba, where they lived above. Talk about convent.

They opened for they day and the morning went by pretty smoothly as it did every Saturday. When lunch time rolled around Aiba did the daily routine of spending some time with his little brother after lunch. They played a bit outside and had a great time. Aiba’s childish nature and love for just having fun always helped the day go by faster. They two where slightly upset hen Aiba had to get back to work and help his father again.

They closed up in the evening around 6 o’clock like always, and Aiba’s mother started dinner. When it was time to eat the four sat down and engaged in small conversation. It was here that things started to go a little sour.

Yusuke (his little brother) and Aiba where having a small debate about something stupid like always but every now and then they would get outta hand. So was what happened this night.

“Stop arguing at the dinner table.” His father said sternly.

Aiba pouted. “It’s not an argument Dad, just a debate.”

Aiba’s father didn’t give him a second look and continued eating. “Whatever it is cut it out. The dinner table is not a place for such childish things.”

Aiba put down his rice and chopsticks. He wasn’t going to sit there for once since he thought of his father to be wrong about their conversation. “It’s not childish, Yusuke just wanted to know and then it turned into a debate.” He took a sip of his tea. “I don’t see how that’s childish,”

It was then that Aiba’s father turned his stare onto Aiba. One that said his back talking was not actable in the least and he should restrain from saying anymore. But Aiba being Aiba didn’t know when to quit. “I’m just saying…he’s my little brother and asked a question, I gave an answer. What’s the problem?”

“Leave the table.”

“Nii-san…” Yusuke whispered.

“But—“

“I said leave the table.” Aiba pouted again and got up from the table going up to his room. This was totally unjustified if anything in this house ever was.

Present

It was nearing 8 o’clock now and the sun was pretty much gone in the horizon Aiba kept moving though since he didn’t know what else to do. Without really knowing where to go, he made his way to a park by coincidence. When he eventually came to a bench he sat down with a huff.

Aiba checked his pocket for anything useful, either money wise or knowing who he was wise. What did he come up with? A broken cell phone (what the hell?), about 5 bucks in change, and a note/letter.

The note/letter was illegible now; it appeared to have gotten wet in the rain or something along those lines. It made him curious slightly. He stuffed everything back into his pockets and unfolded the piece of paper that had smeared ink everywhere. He tried his best to read what the note said hoping it would offer some piece of information.
